How to Play

Baccarat

We offer six deck Baccarat. If you are not familiar with Baccarat, proceed straight to the Baccarat Rules. Return to this page after you have learned the rules.

To play the game:

  • Click on a chip of desired value to select it.
  • Click on the Player, Banker or Tie areas on the table to place your bet there. Every click increases the bet by the value of the selected chip. Select another chip if you wish to increase the bet by some other amount. To decrease your bet, right-click on the bet to decrease it by the value of the selected chip. You can place several chips into several areas at the same time.
  • In addition to regular Baccarat bets the game includes side bets. Click on the Player Pair, Banker Pair, Perfect Pair, Either Pair, Big and Small areas on the table to place your bet there. A description of each side bet can found in the Side Bets section below.
  • The minimum and maximum bet limits for each bet position are dependent on your VIP level. Click the Limits button at the upper corner of the game window to open a table that shows your bet limits.
  • Click the Deal button.
  • Cards are now dealt to the Player and Banker according to Baccarat rules and the game result is displayed.
  • Click New Game if you wish to play again. Place your bets as described above and click Deal. You can also click Rebet to place the same bet as in the previous round.

Side bets

A side bet is a wager you can make beyond the regular game bets on Player, Banker or Tie. The following is a description of the available side bets:

Player Pair / Banker Pair / Either Pair / Perfect Pair / Big / Small

The side bet rules are the following:

  • The Player Pair, Banker Pair side bets win according to the payout table if the first two cards dealt to the respective hand form any pair on that hand, for example a 5 of Spades and a 5 of Diamonds.
  • The Either Pair side bet wins according to the payout table if the first two cards on either the Banker or the Player hand (or both) form any pair on that hand.
  • The Perfect Pair side bet wins according to the payout table if the first two Player or Banker cards form a pair of the same suit, for example a pair of 7 of Diamonds.
  • The Big side bet wins according to the payout table if the total number of cards dealt between Player and Banker is 5 or 6.
  • The Small side bet wins according to the payout table if the total number of cards dealt between Player and Banker is 4.
  • The side bet is not associated with the regular game bets. You can wager a regular game bet on the Player position but a side bet on the Banker Pair, and vice versa.
  • You can also place side bets without placing any regular bets.

Rules

Baccarat Rules

The object of baccarat is to obtain a hand with a point total closest to 9. Aces count as one; 2 through 9 as their face value; tens and picture cards count as zero. If the value of the hand is a two-digit number, ignore the first digit. The last digit is the baccarat point value of the hand. For example: 7+6=13=3 and 4+6=10=0

Place your wager on the banker’s hand and/or on the player’s hand and/or on a tie. The player and the banker are then each dealt a two-card hand. In certain cases, a third card is dealt to the player or the banker or both (Third Card Rules). Cards are dealt from a shoe that holds 6 decks of cards. The decks are shuffled each round.

The hand closest to 9, wins.

If you bet on the player and the player wins, you are paid 2 for 1 winnings on your bet.

If you bet on the banker and the banker wins, you are paid 2 for 1, minus 5% bank commission (vigorish).

If both the player’s hand and the banker’s hand have equal totals, the game result is a ‘tie’. If you have placed a bet on the ‘tie’ field, your payoff is 9 for 1. Non-tie bets are returned to you (shown as a 'Push') if a tie occurs.

For example, if you bet 10 on the player position and the player's hand wins, you are paid 20.

Third Card Rules
